to serve in the Dominican Republic in June of 2011, I haven’t had the opportunity to return home. I’ve only been able to go to the United States last year when we went on vacation with my in-laws.
I did this trip for 4 reasons:
Some of them prayed for me, encouraged me, and congratulated me for my son that is due to be born soon. I was also able to see some friends from Sacramento, CA.
I spent time with my sister Silvia who just returned from her trip in the Middle East. It is really encouraging to think that I am in missions because of her. She shared with us some of the experiences she has over there.
I enjoyed a great Mexican breakfast, tacos, fish tostadas and some other dishes that the new YWAM Ensenada cook prepared.
3-My driver’s license expired a while ago. I also had to renew it to be able to drive legally. Thanks to God that I didn’t have any problems when it was expired.
During this trip, my life was blessed to be able to see and enjoy the people that I spent time with.
The only thing missing was my beloved wife whom I missed so much. I called her a couple times a day. It was like my other half was missing.
Four weeks until our son Ian is due. I continue to feel encouraged, waiting for his arrival and we are ready to welcome him with arms wide open.
I would like to tell you how much we appreciate your prayers, encouragement and financial support for this trip to have been made possible. To the staff of YWAM San Diego/Baja, thank you for your help with transportation and to YWAM Ensenada for your hospitality. May God reward you greatly.
May you be blessed..
Danny, Danae and little Ian that is arriving soon.
PS… Keep an eye out for our next Newsletter in the next couple weeks.
