finances when we really need it. Most recently, we have been working on getting furniture for our apartment and settling in. God spoke to different people to help, which resulted in money being given to buy some and pieces of furniture being given to us. We started out only with a bathroom rack. Now, we have everything including a washer and dryer, stove and oven, refrigerator, couch, dining room set, bed, dresser and even an inflatable bed for guests! Most of this we were able to get within the first two weeks in our apartment. Thank You, Jesus! Now we are ready to welcome guests to our home. We recently had an open house which was so fun finally having our own place to invite our friends to. Here are some pictures to show you our new place. We really hope to have out-of-town guests
soon.
Danny is working in the kitchen and also hosting teams to/from San Diego. It’s fun meeting new people and sharing stories. When I have time, I am helping to translate family stories for those receiving homes and working on some VBS craft preparation for Mission Adventures.
Ian is growing so fast! He will be turning 5 months old on Monday. When we had him weighed and measured at 4 months and one week old, he was 15 lbs 7.4 oz and just shy of 24 inches long. He is back up to the 50th percentile in weight like when he was first born! He is full of smiles and laughed for the first time the day he turned 4 months old. It’s not hard now to get him to laugh with us. He is such a fun and sweet baby! Here are some pictures from the last two weeks.
